1. Local-First Media Promise

cutipAI is built on a local-first architecture. Any video, image, or audio file you import into the cutipAI editor from your local drive remains on your local drive. We do not upload, sync, or backup your source media to our servers.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to run the service and process AI generation jobs:

• Account Info: Name, email address, and billing details (processed by our payment provider).
• Generation Prompts: Text prompts and parameters sent to our API when you explicitly request an AI generation.
• Metadata: Anonymous usage statistics and project metadata (e.g. project name, timeline structure) to sync your workspace state across devices.

3. How We Use Data

We use your data to authenticate your account, deduct AI credits, process generation jobs, and sync your project metadata. We do not use your private prompts or generated outputs to train foundational AI models.

4. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your account data. However, remember that your local media security relies on the security of your own device.
