History

History lists every generation you have run, across all your projects, with what each one cost.

Find a generation

1. Open History from the account menu. Narrow the list with the search box (reference, project or action), the project menu, the date menu and the status buttons. The line on the right sums up what you are looking at: how many jobs, and their total.

   

   

2. Click a job. The panel on the right shows everything about it.

   

   

3. Click Preview result to see or play what the job made. Copy copies its full reference — quote it if you ever contact support about a job.

4. Click Export spreadsheet to download the filtered list, or Export PDF to print it. Both include every job that matches your filters, not only the page on screen.

Reading a job

• Succeeded — the job finished and you were charged for it.
• Held — the job is still running. Its estimated cost is set aside, not yet charged.
• Failed — the job did not produce a result. You were not charged.
• Canceled — you stopped the job. You were not charged.

In the details panel:

• Quoted is the Estimated cost the button offered before you clicked.
• Charged is what the job actually cost. It reads held until the job finishes.
• Cost basis says whether the charge is Final or Estimated.
• Shortfall, when it appears, is an amount recorded as outstanding because the job cost more than the balance you had left. It is cleared by your next purchase — see How credits work.

Storage charges

Purchased disk space is paid from the same dollar-denominated credit wallet as generations. Monthly and annual storage charges appear as Storage in your credit history, so you can distinguish them from generation spending and other wallet movements.
