Spaces

A space is a location in your film. Its canonical image is the establishing picture of the place; every shot set there uses it as the background and as the reference for the video. A scene on the storyboard takes its location from your spaces.

Create a space

1. Click Spaces in the rail on the left of the editor, then +. The new space opens in the inspector.

2. Give it a Username — one word, for tagging with @. Choose a Style, and write the Description prompt, or click the sparkle button to have one written for you.

3. Under Canonical image, click Generate canonical image.

4. Look at the result, then click Use this image, Redo for another attempt, or Discard.

   

   

Have photographs of the real place? Import your own images, and tick Reference on the ones the generation should follow.

Wider, and from other angles

• Extend — Left, Right, Up or Down generates more of the place beyond the edge of the image. Each is paid. Undo extension takes the last one back.
• Choose the framing — set how much of the image a shot sees.
• Modify angle — opens the Angle Studio, where you pose a camera in the space and generate the view from there. Paid.

Related images

A location usually has more than one corner. Under Related images, write one line for each area you want — for example, the back loading dock — or leave a line blank to let cutipAI choose. Click Add area for another line, then Generate — it counts them, as in Generate 3 areas — to make them all at once. Its tooltip itemises the estimate area by area.

Related images need a canonical image first. They join the space's image list, where each one can be extended, re-angled, duplicated or deleted — or made the canonical image with Make canonical.
